Candy Cane Hearts

Ingredients:
4" or 6" lollipop sticks
Mini candy canes
White chocolate
Peppermint essential oil
Christmas sprinkles

Directions:
1. Set out the lollipop sticks on a waxed or parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
2. Arrange the mini candy canes at the top of the sticks in the shape of hearts.
3. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and place the hearts in the oven for 3 minutes.
4. Pull them out, press the ends together and pull out the sides to make the heart shape. Be careful, the candy canes will be hotter than expected.
5. Melt the chocolate and mix in 1 drop of Peppermint essential oil. Fill with a teaspoon or two of melted white chocolate.
6. Add festive sprinkles, if desired.
7. Allow to set for at least 10 minutes.
