Slow Cooker Goulash

Ingredients:
2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 large yellow onions, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
3 cups water
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (14.5 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
2 Tablespoons dried Italian herb seasoning
3 bay leaves
1 Tablespoon seasoned salt or to taste
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
2-3 green onions, chopped (optional)

Directions:
Preheat slow cooker to high. In a large Dutch oven, cook and stir the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking up the meat as it cooks, until the meat is no longer pink and has started to brown, about 10 minutes. Skim off excess fat and stir in the onions and garlic. Continue to cook and stir the meat mixture until the onions are translucent, about 10 more minutes. Transfer the beef mixture into the preheated slow cooker. Stir in water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, soy sauce, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, seasoned salt, and macaroni until thoroughly combined. Cover. Cook on high for 1 hour. Top with green onions for garnish.
